\u2013 Final Schools Chess Championship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Report on the 2025 \u201cNaqlah\u201d Final Schools Chess Championship<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Naqlah Final Schools Chess Championship was held on Thursday, 8 May 2025, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in partnership with the Ministry of Sports and Youth, as part of an initiative aimed at enhancing creative thinking and developing students\u2019 skills through chess as an educational and pedagogical tool.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The championship witnessed broad participation of more than 100 students from various schools, competing in an enthusiastic atmosphere and excellent organization that reflected the growing level of the game in Qatari schools.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The tournament was conducted using a 5-round system, where students engaged in strong matchups that showcased their technical and cognitive development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Boys Category Results:<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><b>1st Place:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Amer Naasan \u2013 Malik Bin Anas Primary School for Boys (5 points)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>2nd Place:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Zaid Khalil \u2013 Khalifa Model School for Boys<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>3rd Place:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Youssef Al-Saeedi \u2013 Malik Bin Anas Primary School for Boys<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Girls Category Results:<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>1st Place:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Zein Shaker \u2013 Sumayya Primary School for Girls (5 points)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>2nd Place:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Habiba Adel \u2013 Sumayya Primary School for Girls<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>3rd Place:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Sharifa Al-Mushairi \u2013 Al Markhiya Primary School for Girls<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The championship served as the culmination of a remarkable academic year in the Naqlah Project, launched by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports and Youth, with the aim of integrating chess into the educational environment and enhancing students\u2019 strategic thinking skills.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The organizers praised the outstanding level demonstrated by the students throughout the competition, emphasizing that such initiatives contribute to building a promising chess base in Qatar and reinforce the game&#8217;s role in developing concentration, analysis, and decision-making skills among young
